Moreblessing started her broiler business on a very small scale, keeping her chickens in her kitchen because she had no proper structure for them. Through her Self-Help Group’s savings and lending model, she accessed funds to gradually build a fowl run, giving her growing flock a safer home.
In 2025, she benefited further from WE-LEAP’s revolving fund, which let her expand her poultry enterprise and extend her fowl run. Today, Moreblessing supplies local restaurants, schools and community functions a reliable source of income-built step by step.
“Her journey from broilers in a kitchen to supplying established customers is a reminder that economic empowerment can begin with a small opportunity — and grow into a sustainable livelihood.”
